What is your favorite protest and/or protest leader?

This is just a follow up question to my last thread. :)

  1. i cant really say i have a favourite protest leader becouse it depends alot in the type of situation they were i admire martin luther king non violence protest he made it happend thats what was need i admire malcom x a more forcefull leader and he had his rights be forcefull it worked and it was neede for the situation was in

  2. Nelson Mandela because he went to jail for black peoples human rights in africa.Neson Mandala was in jail for 27 years because white people didn't like what he was doing for his people.

  3. I have to agree with Odas!

    In 1961, Mandela became the leader of the ANC's armed wing, Umkhonto we Sizwe (translated Spear of the Nation, and also abbreviated MK), which he co-founded. He coordinated sabotage campaigns against military and government targets, making plans for a possible guerrilla war if the sabotage failed to end apartheid. Mandela also raised funds for MK abroad and arranged for paramilitary training of the group.

    He stood up for black rights and was imprisoned for 26 years for this.

    He was arrested on Robben Island where he remained for the next eighteen years in June 1964, in March 1982 Mandela was transferred from Robben Island to Pollsmoor Prison, from were he was released on 11 February 1990.
